Als je je afvraagt hoelang je server (of werkstation) al draait, dan kun je in Windows het volgende commando intoetsen:

net statistics workstation | find “:”

Het effect is dan zoiets als dit:

In feite vraag je je PC hoelang hij al een “werkstation” is. Onder normale omstandigheden is je PC een server zodra hij opstart.
